The 2002-2003 scholarships are in remembrance of Bryan Guay, one of the four members from Local 279 who tragically lost his life while working in the maintenance shop at O.C. Transpo. This year, the program will consist of five scholarships each in the amount of $2,000.00. Four scholarships have been designated for the U.S. applicants and one has been designated for a Canadian applicant. In addition, a $1,000.00 scholarship may be awarded to a vocational school applicant.
